Director of Digital

The Director of Digital (DofD) is a new 6-month position created in 2009, replacing some of the duties of the Sixth Channel Authority. A "director" is appointed following nominations and a public vote in Network Six administration, and the new position has the duties of dealing with the operation of digital channels, submissions for digital channels and digital franchises. Along with the Network Controller and the Director of Television, the DofD forms a team overseeing all parts of the Network. The first Director of Digital, David Williams, from fourtsnmedia, was appointed in March 2009.
