Forest Studios is the brand new restructured programme production service which combinds of the former FM Productions and FM Local. Forest Studios aim to offer a wide range of programming to cater for the different needs of each company they work with.

Forest Design is the graphic design arm of Forest Media.

Forest International is the productions side for the worldwide viewers.

Forest News Broadcasting are the providers to news companies like BBC News 24 with news stories for online and on the TV. The Newsroom is always busy and people are very hard working to provide some news stories for the biggest companies such as GMTV, ITV News and BBC News 24. Forest News Broadcasting are one of the biggest news bureaux in the UK.

[edit] Republic of Ireland Franchise

Eire Telefis was Forest Medias bid franchise in the 2009 franchise round and won the bid. Thanks to all the voters and members of NetworkSix. Eire Telefis is the official NetworkSix franchise in the Republic of Ireland area. Forest Media propose that in the purpose made building that all major continuity links will be invision and overnight and other announcements will be made out of vision. A statement has yet to be made from Forest Media and Eire Telefis.


[edit] Digital Channel - Sci-Tech

Forest Media also have gained a license for a digital only channel nationwide on the Network Six network. Sci-Tech is a channel that provides quality programming to people who love science and technology. Forest Media is using Sci-Tech to influence more people to get involved in science and technology.

[edit] The Leeds Playout System

Forest Media has just installed and introduced a brand new playout system to their Leeds Studios - Forest Broadcasting House. The LPS is about to be used for Night Shift, the overnight service in the Eire Telefis region. The LPS will also be used as a back up system for Eire Telefis in case of an emergency, power failure or breakdown of the playout system at Eire Telefis. Also the LPS broadcasts the Sci-Tech channel(formally broadcasted and played out from the Norwich studios) which is the national science and technology channel.

The playout system consists of six feeds:

LPS 1 clean feed of the Network

LPS 2 Eire Telefis Feed

LPS 3 LPS feed which consists of the whole of the Forest Media programme libary archive

LPS 4 Sci-Tech channel feed

LPS 5 GTV Feed

LPS 6 Backup playout

The LPS is 100% owned by Forest Media.

The company has shares in Acorn Times (60% Forest Media), a Yorkshire newspaper with a distribution size of approximately 3 million people.

Forest Media has buildings in Leeds, Norwich, Jersey, London, Liverpool and now for the Republic of Ireland Franchaise in Dublin, the "Eire Fearann House".
