[edit] History

[edit] 1998 - 2004: Eleven Corporation

Eleven Corporation Plc was formed on 2nd January 1998 as the new owner of Network 11 (an Australian Television network). It remained as such until 2004 when Eleven Corporation was split into two, with Network 11 now being owned by 11Group Plc. and other assets now owned by LevCorp Media Plc. The split was to create a more efficient service in Australia and a bigger presence elsewhere. LevCorp still has a 35% stake in 11Group.

[edit] 2004-2008: Cracking America

LevCorp tried to setup presence in America, but ultimately failing at this task, ultimately only being in operation of an Independent Television station for 8 months in 2006 and 2007. They also tried to form a network out of another potential 9 stations, what would of been called the LevCorp Network, but this idea also fell through. They also owned a radio station for 7 months during 2006. They withdrew operations in America in late 2007.

[edit] 2008-: Reaching the UK

In January 2009, LevCorp Media switched their main focus to the UK and placed two bids in the Network Six Franchise Round of 2009. It owns LevCorp Television Ltd which contains any potential franchise bids and LevCorp's production company, Random Donkey/LevCorp Productions. Random Donkey has stated it's intentions to produce programmes for Network Six. In August 2009 they unveiled a new logo, which is a rectangle box with a red stripe across the bottom.
