NST was a APFS Network franchise holder for North West Scotland and the Higlands. It was the first regional franchise holder for the franchise of that name, after the previous two Scottish licences were split into three. It replaced part of the franchise area of ThreeCastle Television, before eventually being replaced by GTV in May 2006.
