News Line is a regional programme produced by Forest Studios orginally produced for Eire Telefis, with live discussions concering local politics, business and local and international stock exchange and politics. It is currently presented by Andrea Catherwood and airs each weekday at 22:27pm. The programme follows the same format as BBC's Newsnight and Night Line, with weather and news updates from the late night news presenter on duty.

Since Forest Media's purchase of Caledonia Media which owns GTV, Forest Studios produced a presentation to Caledonia Media and GTV's head of programming. GTV come to a decision that this sounded similar to Emoa Lobby (GTV) so News Line (GTV) would be replacing it. News Line is due to pilot on GTV in the spring schedule, with Emoa Lobby finishing its series at the end of February.

They are three versions of Newsline currently produced, with three identical set, however the presenters are different. The three versions are Newsline Eire, the Republic of Irelands version which is presented by Eamonn McDougle. This version features local politicians debating on the topical issues of the day, including local weather and news.

The second version is Newsline GTV, which is presented by the former Emoa Lobby Scotland, Michael Irvine, presented from Oban Studios, in the same on as former Emoa Lobby Scotland. This also includes local politicians debating on the topical issues of the day, including local weather and news.

All versions also include the local business news and international stock exchange, and national and international news and weather.

The third version, is the national version of Newsline made especially for the overnight service ESS which is broadcast to GTV,Mercia and NETV which is presented by Andrea Catherwood, who launched the Eire Pilot and who is a regular stand in for Eamonn. This version includes a look at the national and international papers, look at the news and weather, business and financial news, with regular up and coming music acts preforming at the end of each Newsline.
