Three Rivers was a regional programme production company, owned by Vanquish Media. Originally known as Vanquish Media local, the service was renamed in March 2008, adopting the name of a former Vanquish Media franchise bid, 3 Rivers Television.

In May 2009, Vanquish Media decided to close Three Rivers after the main clients, cautleytv and emerald1, decided to produce local output independently under Cautley Films and Emerald Gems brands.

As Vanquish Media CEO, Jonny Fellows, said,

Three Rivers, responsible for regional programmes such as Back to the Future and Going Underground, has seen business interest decline due to the tough economic climate as more broadcasters move local programme making in-house to reduce costs. It is now apparent that the business is unsustainable...
Three Rivers programming currently airing on Network Six franchises will cease production when their current series ends. After which point, franchisees will have the opportunity to purchase the rights to these programmes if they so which.

Vanquish Media announced closure of Three Rivers on 2th May 2009.
